Support the work

Fund independent research directly.

There is no institution behind this. No department, no grant office, no investor. The research, the datasets and the public tools are paid for out of pocket and given away, and contributions here are what make the next one possible.

Giving is entirely optional and changes nothing about your access. Everything on this site is free whether you contribute or not, and it will stay that way.

Give monthly

Recurring support is worth disproportionately more than its size, because it is the only kind that makes a long project plannable. Cancel any time from the receipt email.

Where it goes

The free tools stay free

Grant Finder, the Medication Cost Finder, and the Academic Navigator are open to anyone, with no account, no paywall and no ads. They cost money to run and nothing to use.

Independent research, unaffiliated

Published work in computational chemistry and mathematics, done without a university post, a grant, or a lab behind it. Funding buys the one thing that is genuinely scarce here, which is time.

Datasets nobody else publishes

Open, versioned, permanently citable datasets released for anyone to use, including the people who would otherwise have to pay a vendor for the same numbers.

The plain facts

  • Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Card details never touch this site and are never seen by me.
  • This is a sole proprietorship, not a registered charity. Contributions are personal support for independent work, and they are not tax-deductible. Anyone telling you otherwise is wrong.
  • Nothing is gated behind giving. There is no supporter tier, no members-only content, and no change to what you can read or use.
  • Cancel a monthly contribution any time from the link in your Stripe receipt. No email required, no retention flow.

Other ways to help

Money is not the only useful thing. Contributing to a project, reviewing a paper, correcting a dataset, or sponsoring a property in the network all move the work forward, and some of them move it further than a contribution would.
